Use Folder Names for Metadata

When uploading files, you may have an existing folder structure that you wish to replicate. For example, suppose your top level folder is "Counterparty", under which contracts are then sorted by "Doc Type". An example folder structure is below:

To set this up in Aerofiler, begin by checking the following box:

You would then set up the folder levels as follows and then click "Save":

To use this feature, click "Browse" on the Dashboard:

Then, choose the folder that is the parent folder to the "Counterparty" folder:

If you see the following prompt, click "Upload":

After upload, the folder information should be extracted into Aerofiler:

Using Folders, you should now be able to replicate the same folder structure in Aerofiler:
